Fit Kids Class
Participants ages 9 to 15 will be encouraged to develop healthy lifestyle habits with help from a personal trainer. Fit Kids will meet three times a week to learn about the three aspects of a Fit Kid: strength training, cardiovascular fitness and good nutrition. Field trips, healthy cooking and at home challenges are all part of the real-life value of this program. Class instructors will encourage kids to develop healthy lifestyle habits in a positive environment that utilizes the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. All of these elements are vital in the development of a child’s healthy mind, body and spirit. Fit Kids Class is an afterschool program that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. Sessions are one month in
