Our YMCA is in the midst of our Annual Sustaining Campaign to raise scholarship funds for youth and families who cannot afford YMCA program and memberships fees. Our goal is $22,000. We need the help of YMCA members and friends to achieve this goal and make an impact on more lives in our community. In 2007 the YMCA gave out $63,000 in scholarships. The YMCA is fortunate to receive $19,000 from the United Way of Union County but we need more funds so we can help all families in need and never have to turn someone away.
A little girl was able to attend gymnastics class and a little boy learned how to swim as a result of financial assistance. These are just 2 of 100's of children who were impacted by this campaign.
